The BT Moto Stage 1+ ECU flash for the Aprilia RSV4 2012-2020 is developed to refine engine management for this motorcycle specification. The calibration and included handheld tuner form a package for reading and programming the ECU. BT Moto describes the following changes for this application.

A suitable ECU calibration considers how the engine delivers its performance. Acceleration, steady-speed riding and reopening the throttle place different demands on engine management. The calibration is therefore selected for the listed motorcycle model and ECU generation. Use this version only for a confirmed application: a similar model name or connector does not automatically mean that the same software is suitable. Correct application matching is part of choosing the right package.

• Alpha-N fueling strategy applied or revised as described by BT Moto.

Dyno results

BT Moto reports 7-10 HP gained over the Race ECU, on a test motorcycle with exhaust/filter modifications and US-rated 93-octane fuel. These are source claims under specific test conditions, not guaranteed gains for every motorcycle.

BT Moto Handheld Tuner included

The included BT Moto Handheld Tuner reads and programs engine management through the appropriate diagnostic connection. Follow the instructions for your motorcycle model and use its designated calibration. The original mapping can be saved and restored later. The handheld also supports multiple maps and reading and clearing ECU fault codes. Revised maps can be supplied remotely when the motorcycle configuration changes. Maintain a suitable, stable battery power supply throughout programming.
