BT Moto Stage 1+ ECU Flash – Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RR / RS 2021–2023

The BT Moto Stage 1+ ECU Flash is an OEM+ performance calibration developed for the 2021–2023 Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RR and RS. Instead of using an external fuel controller or piggyback module, BT Moto directly recalibrates the factory Triumph ECU.

The calibration optimizes strategies including electronic throttle control, fueling, ignition timing, RPM limits, speed limiters and thermal management. BT Moto identified significant electronic throttle restrictions in the factory calibration, particularly at higher RPM.

Under certain high-RPM conditions, the stock ECU can command approximately 68% throttle opening even when the rider requests full throttle. Stage 1+ recalibrates these strategies to provide stronger and more consistent performance throughout the upper RPM range.

Dyno Results

BT Moto's Stage 1+ calibration was independently tested on a completely stock 2022 Triumph Speed Triple 1200 using California 91-octane pump gasoline.

This test showed an increase of approximately 21 wheel horsepower at peak. According to BT Moto, the difference approached 30 WHP near redline as the factory electronic throttle strategy became increasingly restrictive.

Dyno figures are test results and should not be considered guaranteed performance gains. Actual results can vary depending on motorcycle configuration, fuel quality, installed modifications, environmental conditions and dyno equipment.

BT Moto Handheld Tuner

The BT Moto Handheld Tuner allows the factory ECU to be read and flashed from your own garage or workshop. After reading the original ECU information, BT Moto supplies a calibration matched to the motorcycle and its modification combination.

The handheld can store multiple ECU files, read and clear diagnostic trouble codes, receive updated calibrations remotely and restore the original factory calibration when required.

If supported modifications such as an exhaust or air filter are installed later, an updated calibration can be supplied without repeatedly removing or shipping the ECU.
