BT Moto Stage 1+ ECU Flash with Tuner – Honda CB1000R / Hornet 2018–2026

The BT Moto Stage 1+ ECU Flash for the 2018–2026 Honda CB1000R and Hornet is designed to address the restrictions and calibration issues found in the factory ECU. BT Moto recalibrates the electronic throttle control, fueling, ignition and various torque, load and RPM limiters.

One of the main changes concerns the electronic throttle control. According to BT Moto, the stock ECU can restrict throttle opening to approximately 66% at redline, with certain US versions being restricted to less than 50%. Stage 1+ revises these limitations to allow up to 100% throttle opening.

BT Moto dyno testing

In BT Moto's own full-throttle testing on 93-octane pump fuel, the stock motorcycle produced 137 WHP / 77 WTQ compared with 150 WHP / 80 WTQ with the Stage 1 calibration. BT Moto's part-throttle tests show even larger differences due to the factory electronic throttle restrictions. 

Actual results may vary depending on model year, fuel quality, exhaust, air filter and other modifications.

BT Moto Handheld Tuner included

The ECU does not need to be removed or shipped. The supplied BT Moto Handheld Tuner allows the factory ECU to be read and flashed directly on the motorcycle.

The original calibration can be stored and restored at any time. The tuner also supports multiple maps and can read and clear ECU fault codes. Updated calibration files can be supplied remotely when the motorcycle's configuration changes.

Suitable for supported Honda CB1000R / Hornet models from 2018–2026.

For 2021–2026 models, the ECU label number must be checked before ordering. BT Moto currently lists ECU numbers including 38770-MKJ-A60 and 38770-MKJ-A61 as supported versions.
