Kingtyre Kingtyre K00 Racing Slick

The Kingtyre K00 is Kingtyre's premier racing slick, optimised for professional circuits. The completely smooth tread (zero-tread) maximises the contact patch for superior traction and cornering grip, even at extreme lean angles.

The K00 is built with a reinforced carcass and optimised sidewall stiffness for stability and control through tight corners and on high-speed straights. Its low-temperature hot-melt compounds are tuned for consistent performance throughout a race, with a dual-layered compound that reduces edge wear.

The K00 is tested by the Kingtyre Fullgas Racing Team in real-world racing conditions, including the 24 Heures Motos at Le Mans. It has been the go-to tyre for Le Mans endurance teams for over 5 years.

Compound choice depends on track temperature and the grip you need. According to the Kingtyre compound chart: the softer the compound, the higher the track temperature it suits — and the more grip it delivers.

• Super Soft — most grip, for the highest track temperatures
• Soft — high grip, versatile across high to mid track temperatures
• Medium — balanced grip, for mid to lower track temperatures
• Hard — least grip, for the lowest track temperatures and the longest life
