The PZRacing Start Basic ST500-B is a standalone 50Hz GPS lap timer with a TFT colour display. It provides lap and split timing on track, automatic circuit recognition and a touchscreen designed for use with gloves.

Ideal lap time is calculated from the best sectors. From the third lap, predicted timing helps compare the current lap with the best one. In Chrono Mode, the LED bar also provides a visual indication of the time difference.

Use and installation

Start Basic is the version without Start Next’s extensive data logging. Choose it for lap timing on the instrument itself. Start Next is the appropriate version for recording and analysing GPS racing lines and additional sensor channels. Select mounting accessories to suit the cockpit.
