Vandemon Stealth titanium exhaust for Yamaha MT-09, FZ-09 and XSR900. Lightweight 3-into-1 system with electronically switchable Stealth mode, premium finish, and an aggressive CP3 sound. For competition use. Read more..
Unlock the sound and performance of Yamaha's CP3 triple-cylinder engine with the Vandemon Stealth Titanium Exhaust System. Manufactured from premium Ti1 titanium, this complete system combines significant weight savings and improved exhaust flow with Vandemon's unique electronically controlled bimodal Stealth system.
The restrictive Euro 5 exhaust fitted to the MT-09 and XSR900 not only limits exhaust flow but also hides much of the characteristic sound of Yamaha's triple-cylinder engine. Vandemon replaces the original system with polished 3-into-1 titanium headers, a titanium link pipe, and the unique Stealth muffler.
The key feature of this Vandemon system is its electronically controlled Stealth function, allowing the rider to switch between two different exhaust paths at the press of a button.
In Stealth mode, exhaust gases are directed through a baffled resonator to reduce noise. With the valve open, the exhaust takes a virtually unrestricted route for maximum sound and performance.
The system is operated using a handlebar-mounted button, which can typically be fitted near one of the brake or clutch master cylinder bolts.
A dedicated wiring loom is included and connects directly to the Yamaha wiring harness underneath the seat. No cutting or soldering is required.
Removing the restrictive catalytic converter and replacing the original exhaust with free-flowing titanium components significantly improves exhaust gas flow.
According to Vandemon, the system delivers the following gains without additional ECU tuning:
+6 hp at 9,800 rpm
+5 Nm at 5,000 rpm
Total system weight of only 4.3 kg
Reducing exhaust weight helps improve acceleration, handling, and braking performance, while the specially designed tapered headers are developed to increase torque at lower RPM.
In addition to the electronically controlled Stealth system, the exhaust includes a removable mesh dB killer, providing another option to adjust overall sound levels.
Vandemon specifies approximately:
Stealth On: 95 dB
Stealth Off / baffle removed: 102 dB

On 2024–2026 Euro 5+ motorcycles equipped with dual lambda/O2 sensors, installation of the Vandemon exhaust may trigger the Check Engine Light (CEL). This can occur because the ECU detects changes in the catalytic converter's operating parameters.
This Vandemon exhaust system is designed for performance and sound enhancement and is not compliant with Euro 4, Euro 5, or Euro 5+ emissions requirements for pollution-controlled vehicles used on public roads.
The exhaust is intended for closed-course competition, racing, and off-road use only. It is the responsibility of the purchaser and vehicle owner to ensure compliance with all applicable local regulations before installation and use.
