The 15-19 Yamaha R1 is probably the bike we get emailed about tuning the most (besides the 20+) so we decided to take it on. Having a massive customer and fanbase makes this bike is incredibly popular. Your requests helped our tuning become a priority at our headquarters in Massachusetts.

While the R1 isn’t a new platform, its addition to our tuning lineup.  Pretty heavy restrictions are imposed on the 15-19 R1 so we decided to make tuning for it. It shares a lot of similarities with the 2020+ R1.

• Fully De-restricted
• Adjusted fueling to an optimal AFR with stock or aftermarket exhaust systems
• Optimized ignition mapping for more power but still well-within safety parameters
• Completely derestricted throttle
• RPM limit increased to 14,700 upon request
• Cooling fan on adjusted from 216* to 195* to keep the engine cooler
• Quickshifter and auto blipper adjustments to be used at lower and higher RPM’s when needed at the track
• Top speed limiter removed

*Keep in mind you’ll need to have the mechanical ability to access your ECU for your first flash (not required after). If you feel you cannot confidently get to your ECU, we recommend you take your bike to a professional (we have a dealer network). We will also be providing easy to follow, step-by-step directions. This is very easy to do, even with very little mechanical knowledge.*
